Approved Youth Organizations



Below is a list of approved youth organizations whose members may submit entries and exhibit at the 2025 Dane County Fair:

  • Dane County 4-H Clubs
  • Dane County FFA Chapters
  • Dane County Junior Holstein Breeders - Dept. 1 - Dairy
  • CIRCLE Madison - non-animal Departments only
  • New Century Charter School (NCS) - Dept. 35
  • Rocky Run Boosters 4-H Club (Columbia County) - youth exhibitor must be a resident of Dane County
  • Verona Area High School - Art Class - Dept. 35
  • Verona Area High School - Friends of the FFA Club - Dept. 35
  • Verona Area International School (VAIS) - Dept. 35

Junior Fair exhibitors must be members of a youth organization with adult leadership and an educational program approved by the Fair. Exhibitors must be enrolled in the youth organization by March 1 to exhibit at that year's Dane County Fair. Either the Exhibitor or the Organization must be located in Dane County. Exhibitors may be residents of Dane County or a neighboring county, and Organizations may be headquartered in Dane County or a neighboring county (examples include 4-H, FFA, FHA-HERO, YMCA, YWCA, Scouts BSA, Girl Scouts, Pioneers, after school clubs, Youth Civil Air Patrol, Junior Breed Organization, etc.). Junior Breed Organizations may be based in Dane County, the State of Wisconsin, or nationally if a state or county location does not exist. All Dane County 4-H enrollments must be filed at the Dane County Extension Office (5201 Fen Oak).

If your youth organization/breed association is not listed on this 2025 Fair list, complete the youth organization application (button below) and submit it to the Fair Office (info@danecountyfair.com) by May 1, 2025.
