The Dane County Fairest of the Fair is the official ambassador of The Dane County Fair. The Dane County Fairest of the Fair represents and promotes the Fair at events throughout Dane County and beyond, including area parades, festivals, community events, and the Wisconsin State Fair. The Dane County Fairest of the Fair also represents Dane County at the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention and participates in the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs competition.

2025 FAIREST OF THE FAIR BROCHURE

Fairest of the Fair Application

DEADLINE: MARCH 21, 2025

Must be electronically received on or before March 21, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Must be a resident of Dane County.
Must attend the crowing ceremony at the Dane County Breakfast on the Farm on the second Saturday in June.
Be available to commit to attending at least 15-20 promotional events between May 2025 and June 2026.
Be available for pre-fair events and during the entire week of the Dane County Fair.
Must be 18 years old as of January 1, 2026 in order to compete at the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention for the title of Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs.
Be able to attend the Wisconsin Association of Fairs competition in early January 2026.
