Military Appreciation Day – Thursday, July 15
Our military men and women, along with their immediate families, will receive FREE admission to the fair when they present their military ID. Special program and activities will be held throughout the day.

Family Play Day - Thursday, July 15
Dane County 4-H is proud to sponsor Family Play Day at the Fair. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and participate together in educational activities and games. Take some ideas for homemade fun with you!
Red Cross Blood Drive - Thursday, July 15
Enjoy the Fair and save lives by donating blood while you’re there. The Red Cross donor mobile will be on-hand 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Fairgrounds Drive. New and returning donors are encouraged to donate. All presenting donors will receive a coupon for FREE ice cream at the 4-H Leaders Association stand, located next to the blood drive. Simply bring your ID or donor card to the Fair. Youth Day – Friday, July 16
Specially designed activities for kids of all ages! Visit the Exhibition Hall
for fun games and activities. Take a few minutes to decorate cookies or make a puppet.
Activities start at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall.
Agri-Versity – Friday, July 16
Come and test your knowledge about agriculture! Meet pigs, goats and other furry, fun creatures. Plus create and take home projects made of soybeans and other agricultural material. Do you have what it takes to be an Agri-Veristy graduate?
AARP|Walgreens Wellness Tour – Friday, July 16 – Sunday, July 18, noon-8pm
Stop by for free health screenings and health education just outside the Exhibition Hall. Available screenings are worth over $140 and no appointment is necessary. Screenings include: Total Cholesterol Levels; Blood Pressure; Bone Density; Glucose Levels; Waist Circumference; and Body Mass Index.
Family Safety Day – Saturday, July 17
Fire Trucks and Rescue Vehicles parade will kick-off Safety Day at 1:00pm.
These vehicles will be on display to climb on and see what it is like to sit in the "hot seat". At 1:30 p.m. be at the Main Stage to see the hardest working animals in law enforcement. The Madison Mounted Police will demonstrate the use of horses in helping to patrol. At 2:30 p.m. the Madison Police K-9 unit will demonstrate the ability of the amazing four-legged officers.
Hybridfest Green Drive Expo - Saturday, July 17 & Sunday, July 18
Back again this year at the Dane County Fair is Hybridfest Green Drive Expo.
The largest collection of hybrid cars in the Midwest will be on display for fair-goers.
Today take the time to “Talk To an Owner” during the sessions.
Also, you will be able to participate
in free green vehicle test drives (access via rear of Exhibition Hall) and
take in exhibitor and vendor booths and see the MPG Challenge winning cars on display.

Tractor Parade – Saturday, July 17
A parade of tractors that are all colors and sizes will be on
display from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a great chance to climb
right up into the driver’s seat of the awesome machines.
