Bobaflex to Headline JJO Night at the Dane County Fair

MADISON, WIS. – Bobaflex will take the stage on Thursday, July 21 to rock the Dane County Fair. Presented by 94.1 JJO. this Madison favorite will be joined on stage by Red Sun Rising and Through Fire for a full night of entertainment.

“This is by far and away our best line-up we have ever had for the Dane County Fair. These bands have some of the top hits in the rock world and bring high energy to their shows,” says Randy Hawke, WJJO Program Director and Operations Manager for Mid-West Family Broadcasting.

Bobaflex is best known for their smash hit, “Bury Me with My Guns On” off their fifth studio album. This West Virginia band is headed up by brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy – who relate back to the famous McCoys of the Hatfields and McCoys. Other band members include Dave Tipple, Tommy Johnson and Jymmy Tolland.

Other Bobaflex hits include “Chemical Valley”, “The Sound of Silence”, “Home” and “Bad Man” – which has been featured by the NFL Network during Plays of the Week. Their latest hit “A Spider in the Dark” was released in late 2015 with its video premiering as one of the hottest music videos of 2016.

Red Sun Rising is on the fast track to superstardom as they just dropped their first album in 2015 which includes a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Top 100 for Rock this past fall, “The Otherside”. Other hits include “Emotionless” and “Amnesia”, all from their freshman album Polyester Zeal.

Through Fire will be dropping their much-anticipated album Breathe on July 1. The Dane County Fair kicks off their tour, where they will be preforming their hit single, “Stronger”.

All stage concerts are FREE with admission. Admission to the Dane County Fair is just $8 for adults and $3 for children 6 -11; children 5 and under are free. As always, parking is free. Take advantage of all the Fair has to offer with our 3 before 3 deal, where admission is just $3 before 3 p.m.
