Dane County 4-H

In order to stay connected to our many loyal potato customers, we set up a "Baked Potato Challenge." During the "week of the fair," we are encouraging people to make baked potatoes at home loaded with their favorite toppings and submit a photo of their finished product.

Prizes will be given for various categories. Please help us spread the word by sharing this link:

Omulu Capoeira-Madison

Capoeira has something to offer everyone, and EVERYONE has something to offer Capoeira. It builds physical fitness just as much as it builds community and the more you are able to train, the quicker you will learn and grow. Omulu Madison is open to anyone that is interested in learning about the empowering art of Capoeira.

Capoeira is a 500-year Afro-Brazilian Martial Art that combines elements of self-defense, dance and acrobatic movements to the pulsating rhythm of traditional live music. It has its roots in the slavery days of Brazil, when millions of Africans were brought from their homeland to Brazil to work by force, kept in slave camps called “Senzalas.” It was here that Capoeira was born and became an important tool in the enslaved people's fight for survival and ultimately, their freedom.
